- Cook 4-6 slices of bacon in a skillet over medium heat for about 7-8 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease and crumble.
- Slice or shred cooked turkey, using about 1 cup per sandwich for flavor and protein.
- Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread, using about 1 tablespoon per side.
- In the same skillet, place two slices of bread butter-side down, layer half of the cheddar, turkey, bacon, and remaining cheddar, then top with another slice of bread butter-side up.
- Press down with a spatula and cook each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Remove from skillet and allow to cool slightly before slicing in half. Serve warm with sides.
