Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Butter Noodles
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ¾ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter mixture for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted.
  4. Add reserved pasta water gradually while tossing over medium heat until the sauce is glossy. Optionally, add remaining butter for richness.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss to combine and serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
