Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Beat cream cheese until smooth, mix in sugar and flour. Add eggs one at a time, fold in sour cream and vanilla. Pour into greased springform pan in water bath. Bake for 30-35 minutes until slightly jiggly. Cool and freeze overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix in eggs, then alternate with dry ingredients and milk, folding in sprinkles. Divide batter into greased cake pans and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.
  3. Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy, gradually add powdered sugar. Mix in vanilla and fold in sprinkles. Adjust consistency with powdered sugar if needed.
  4. Layer the cake: Place one cake layer on a platter, cover with frosting, place cheesecake layer on top, add more frosting, then top with second cake layer. Frost sides and top, decorate with additional sprinkles, refrigerate until serving.

Notes
