  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Try almond extract for a unique twist.
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness.
For the Assembly
  • 14 ounces Ladyfingers Use almond flour-based biscuits for gluten-free.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine hot water with matcha powder, Kahlua, and honey if desired. Whisk for about 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gently add mascarpone, sugar, vanilla, and salt to the whipped cream. Fold until combined.
  4. Dip ladyfingers into the matcha mixture for about 2 seconds per side. Arrange them at the bottom of a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Smooth out the top.
  6. Repeat the dipping and layering process with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
