Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Incorporate mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract into the whipped cream and beat for 2-3 minutes until stiff peaks form.
  3. Arrange ladyfingers in a 9x13 baking dish, covering the base completely.
  4. Brush half of the ladyfingers with orange juice, allowing them to soak slightly.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the soaked ladyfingers.
  6. Layer sliced bananas over the mascarpone layer.
  7. Repeat layering with remaining ladyfingers, orange juice, mascarpone mixture, and banana slices.
  8. Top with Cool Whip, spreading it evenly.
  9. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  10. Garnish with additional sliced bananas before serving.
