Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a vigorous boil, then add the pipe rigate pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot to keep warm.
- In the same pot, pour in the whole milk, heavy cream, and vegetable broth. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Gradually sprinkle in the shredded white cheddar and sharp cheddar cheese into the simmering liquid. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
- Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, Slap Ya Mama seasoning, ground mustard, turmeric, and black pepper. Stir well as it simmers for another 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate skillet, combine the shredded leftover brisket, beef broth, and barbecue sauce over medium heat. Stir and cook for about 3-4 minutes until heated through.
- Gently fold the pasta into the cheese sauce until well coated. Serve topped with the brisket mixture and a drizzle of barbecue sauce.
